Stationary compressor installations

Location

The stationary installation can be mounted on a trailer or placed in a room or the open air. If the installation is placed in a room, it is important to ensure a sufficient fresh air supply. The stationary installation on a factory floor or in the open air is always equipped with rubber feet to prevent vibrations. The installation can also be equipped with forklift holes or a mobile substructure.

Compressed air cooler

Especially for combustible or temperature sensitive products the installation is equipped with a compressed air cooler. The compressed air cooler is completely made of aluminium and cools the compressed air approximately 100°C. Depending on intake temperature, pressure and capacity the outlet temperature is roughly 65°C.

The outlets of a standard RTI installation are on the front of the cooler, but this can, of course, be changed.

Silencers and filter

The RTI/MMT aluminium pulsation silencer is constructed based on the volume size and is equipped with a (steered) pressure relief valve and a built in non-return valve.

The aluminium filter unit is equipped with a high-quality and moisture resistant 5 μm RTI/Mira air filter/intake silencer.

By applying these parts in combination with aluminium pipes and a cooling installation, the installation will meet all requirements set by the chemical and food industry.

Forced air cooling

Forced air cooling is achieved by means of a plastic fan directly connected to the electric motor. The advantage of forced air cooling is the increased operating reliability.

Air dryer

To dry the air before it is drawn in to the compressor the installation can be equipped with an integrated air dryer. The installation can also be equipped with an integrated Microlon filter to additionally filter the air coming out of the compressor (5 μm).

V-belt drive

In order to transfer a larger capacity the installation is equiped with V-belts. Maintenance and adjustment of the V-belts is an easy process. This drive system is reliable and the maintenance costs are low.

Electric motor

Stationary compressor units are often driven by an electric motor. The standard IEE3 energy efficient motors are available in aluminium as well as cast iron.

OPTIONS

The RTI installation can be tailored to your wishes with several options and additions.

Built in hydraulic installations can be equipped with:

  • a 190 L oil tank
  • a tipper pump
  • a return filter
  • a 5.5 kW e-motor
  • piping

Frequency regulator

The compressor can be equipped with a frequency regulator. This saves energy, it also enables the use of the entire range of the compressor and ensures constant pressure control.
